Ushering in a Student-Centred Curriculum

With our Professional Training Program back in session, music from our accompanists fill the halls, and the School is brimming with inspiration and creative energy. We welcomed in a fantastic first year cohort and reconnected with our wonderful returning students. Our faculty and guest artists are already engaging with the students, bringing their generosity, focus, and attention to a new year of learning.

We are pleased to announce that this year we are introducing our new student-centred curriculum, which will be phased in over the next three years.

Our Artistic and Pedagogical Director, Sasha Ivanochko, speaks in detail about these changes, and how the School is entering into a transformational time in an article with The Dance Current. Our student-centred curriculum provides a holistic education that reflects the voices and needs of the students. It balances rigour and innovation, and provides students with strong tools to realise and communicate their ideas artistically.
