To our School of Toronto Dance Theatre community,

The School of Toronto Dance Theatre is following public health recommendations and actively monitoring developments related to the potential impact of the Coronavirus (now referred to as COVID-19) on our community and life at the School. We maintain contact with Toronto Dance Theatre and the Winchester Street Theatre as we all develop response and contingency plans, and post updates to our websites.  Likewise, we are currently planning for a series of scenarios, should this unsettling situation impact the School’s programming and activities.

At the moment, The School of Toronto Dance Theatre remains open and active.

Classes are running and we intend to carry on with our ACCELERATION performances (March 18 – 21).  Offices are fully staffed and continue to provide support to students and staff. That said, we also appreciate that this may change.  Therefore, we ask that you continue to monitor our website and your email for any future announcements.

If you have traveled recently or been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, avoid contact with others and follow-up with your health care professional. As always, if someone is experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, you are encouraged to stay home or seek medical attention. Information on preventative measures may be found on the Government of Canada Website, and for current updates from Toronto Public Health, please visit toronto.ca/coronavirus.
