Massimo Agostinelli, South African born, is a Montreal-based contemporary choreographer, and an international master teacher of Bouffon theatre. He has been one of Cirque du Soleil’s top artistic trainers of Bouffon and dance improvisation since 2004. He also gives Bouffon workshops for their corporate special events (e.g. Red Bull, Disney, and Bombardier, amongst others). He continues to teach Bouffon and to facilitate at international conferences on creativity, such as Créa-France, CREA-Sestri, Creative Bangok, Creative Melbourne, Mind Camp Canada, Mind Camp Chile, Mosaic HEC Montreal, and Mosaic Lille. Agostinelli gave a TED talk on his transformative work at TEDx Lille, France, in 2016, and at Creative Mornings in Montreal in 2017.

He is a teacher and choreographer for L’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, L’École de danse de Québec, The National Theatre School of Canada, The School of Dance (Ottawa), The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Studio de Danse Volte-Face, and Tanz Danse, Collège Montmorency’s dance troupe. He has created and directed two corporate shows for Cirque Éloïse; he is the Artistic Director of his troupe Bouffon de Bellefeuille, and his dance troupe Écho; and he is featured in an award-winning short documentary film, Le Ridicule Ne Tue Pas. Agostinelli is now represented by Comedy Corps in Chile for all his international corporate teaching and conference bookings.
