Jarrett Siddall was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta and started dancing with Ukrainian dance technique at age ten. In 2006, he moved to Edmonton, Alberta where he danced for the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers and Citie Ballet. He began his teaching career at The Shumka School of Dance in 2007, teaching the Shumka Syllabus. In 2009 he was accepted into The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, and in his first year he was awarded the Hnatyshyn Foundation Developing Artist Grant in contemporary dance. At the School of TDT, he performed works by Serge Bennathan, Anna Blewchamp, Valerie Calam, Allison Cummings, Christopher House, Sharon B. Moore, Jean-Pierre Perreault, Julia Sasso, Roger Sinha, Darryl Tracy, Gerry Trentham, and William Yong.
Upon graduating in 2012, Siddall was invited to join Toronto Dance Theatre, where he currently continues his performance career, as well as occasionally teaching company class. With TDT, he has performed works by Susie Burpee, Peter Chin, Thomas Hauert, Ame Henderson, Christopher House, Heidi Strauss, and Evan Webber.
