Andrew Hartley is a Dora-nominated dancer, choreographer, and teacher originally from Moncton, New Brunswick.  He has danced in work by Serge Bennathan, Angela Blumberg, Sylvie Bouchard, Susie Burpee, Allison Cummings, David Earle, DA Hoskins, Noémie Lafrance, Isabel Lewis, Jane Alison McKinney, Peter Randazzo, Simon Renaud, Tedd Robinson, Michelle Silagy, Michael Trent, Dan Wild, and Sashar Zarif.  In 2017, he was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for his performance in Simon Renaud’s l’inanité des bibelots / love would only slow me down.  His choreographic work has been presented in Toronto by Fresh Blood, the Glad Day Bookshop, and Older & Reckless.  He teaches in the Young Dancers’ Program at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, and as guest faculty of DancEast in Moncton.  He is currently pursuing a degree in biology from York University.
